EXPLAINING REWORK

ReWork is the furniture re-use scheme which entwines the ethos and values of its creator, Workhorse Group, by supporting the environmental push preventing landfill and lowering its carbon footprint and supporting communities nation wide by donating furniture free of charge to Charities, Community Hubs, Start-up Businesses and the Education Sector.

We believe in the need for environmental change and the need to take action now in order for there to be a positive future for tomorrow's generation, and with ReWork we can make a real environmental impact.

"IT'S NOT TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE"

We understand that it's human nature to think "what's the catch?", and think "it sounds too good to be true". The reality is that ReWork exists because it is a bi-product of commercial paid work between TRANSDEC and its clients. As one of the country's leading commercial removal and storage companies, TRANSDEC work nationally to move, store, and clear office furniture and IT equipment.

Historically, that would have involved dispatching large amounts of unwanted furniture into landfill at a cost not just to the customer but also to the environment. Those customer costs are now used to enable TRANSDEC to remove unwanted office furniture from customer sites and deliver it directly to ReWORK warehouses. It is then itemised, added to this website and made available for collection, free of charge, to end users who fit the criteria for its ethical re-use.

Businesses and individuals who don't qualify for free furniture re-use can still purchase furniture directly from us for an agreed price or from the ReWORK eBay store. Any profits are directed to our Workhorse Legacy initiatives, read more about our 5, 10 and 20 year plans for Workhorse Legacy below.
