Two Scottish ReWORK projects completed in seven days. Workhorse Generation were delighted to answer the call from Lewis Melee and the team from Hibernian Community Foundation. As former Chair of the foundation Fraser knew exactly the type of vital projects the team from Leith delivered through the Lothian's.
Desks, stools and swivel chairs were provided by ReWORK to kit out a new office space and break out area within the clubs away stand.
Having this furniture allows the team to welcome community guests as well as give the staff an area they can deliver one on one suport sessions when needed.
Fraser from Workhorse Generation said "It was great to see Lewis and the team and hear about the great work they are doing within Leith and further afield. Hibernian Community Foundation will always be close to my heart after spending many happy years with them so when the opportunity came to have ReWork partner with them it was a no brainier. The work they do is fantastic and if this helps them do more then great, we look forward to supporting them again in the future."
Lewis, Head of Community at Hibernian Community Foundation, added ''The Rework programme kindly shared office resources across to us here at Hibernian Community Foundation following our team increasing in numbers earlier this month. We now have new office chairs to support our meeting break out space and tables that can be used as hot desks and break out space. This will be a great help when the office is busy and we have meetings with community members or when welcoming partners into the space.
These desks also provide a space for staff to enjoy breakfast or lunch togtehr and encourages staff to move away from their desk for a period.
All items donated are in great condition and have saved the Foundation funds which can now be returned back into the community to make a positive impact on lives local to us here at HCF. ''
